The Take 3 for Climate Justice challenge was an opportunity for Manitoba students to consider how to take meaningful action on both climate change and human rights. This year on March 3, 2020, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights hosted a youth conference for all students who participated in this challenge by creating video submissions to educate on this theme. Conference attendees took part in exploring community-based actions for Climate Justice and listened to a keynote address from Bob McDonald, Canadian author and science journalist, along with youth leaders from the Winnipeg Global Climate Strike.
Thank you to Sean Koenig, Jordan Dearsley, Ella Spence and Diogo Iwasaki for your leadership for Climate Justice, you are an inspiration to others! You can watch their video entry here;
