The Beyond Grade 12 Now Anatomy and Physiology class spent their all period day learning about the brain. In the morning they engaged in a lecture and discussion with the professor from Red River College around the anatomical landmarks of the brain and their functions. In the afternoon the students had the opportunity to dissect both sheep brains and pig brains that still had the eyes attached. They used the models of the brain to guide the dissection and to quiz each other on the functions. It was a great day!
