Zoology Club

The Zoology Club is home to over 22 animals that students learn how to care for and interact with. These animals are a great addition to the Grade 12 Biology study of Kingdom Animalia, allowing students to see first hand the adaptations these animals make to their environments. Ensuring that the animals’ enclosures mimic their natural habitats is one of the Club’s biggest goals; this is a great tool for the study of Ecosystems in Grade 10 Science.

The Zoology Club has had a wonderful year of welcoming new animals, learning about new ecosystems (such as for the Indonesian Blue Tongued Skink), and helping students’ find their voices through middle and elementary school presentations and community events.
