On May 31st, students from the West K fishing club ventured out to Lockport for a day of fishing. While a cold and windy day greeted us, it was a very productive day. Many good fish were caught, including a carp, catfish and freshwater drum that were all just shy of being master anglers! It was a multi-species day, as members reeled in carp, drum, catfish, and a goldeye. It was a great day all around and many new fishing stories were created. A special thank-you to Mr. Kowalchuk, Ms. Buchberger, and Mr. Krahn for their support of the fishing club and allowing our trip to take place!
