On all period day, the grade 10 Retailing class was invited to St Vital Mall to meet the Administration team. Students got to see a back end tour of the mall. The whole team gave us a presentation on there unique roles of how each department works together. The administration office invited us to there board where they each talked about there roles and what posistion it plays in the function of mantaining the mall.
We were joined by the retail manager, the general manager, the operations manager and the marketing director. Students learned a lot about how everyone needs to communicate and work together even if there roles and jobs are different.
Seeing the back end in how retail stores are set up in the mall was a great learning experience for the retail class.
